Professor Prakash Mahanwar, Working as Professor of Polymer Technology at Department of Polymer and Surface Engineering , Institute of Chemical Technology. He is also Dean- Human Resource and Development at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. He has total 27 years teaching experience till 2020.

Supervised Ph. D. Research students: 24, M. Tech.: 74. Published 105 International and 54 National peer reviewed journals.  Indian Patents: 4 granted and applied 6. Total papers presented in confetences: International:24 National 48.

Elected Fellow of Maharashtra Academy of Science.

Research Interest: Development of biodegradable/ biocompatible polymers, polymer macro and Nano composites, Nano coatigd, micro and nano encapsulated agrochemical  formulations, Nano coatings, various products from renewable sources. UV/EB curable coatings. Heat Energy regulated coatings.
